Vince Petraro, an attorney and chief lobbyist for the Metropolitan Parking Association (MPA), shares his strategies & insights on successfully defeating NYC's zoning rules detrimental to the parking industry--an eight year battle. In 2008, MPA and NPA members defeated a NYC effort to raise parking taxes.

Tom Quaadman is the vice president of the U.S. Chamber Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness. The Center advocates legal and regulatory policies for the U.S. capital markets to advance the protection of investors and promote capital formation. Quaadman will update attendees on the current FASB/IASB proposed lease accounting rules and progress in reform that is more favorable to business and what it means to you.
