National Parking Association Launches Parking Industry Peer Networks

Premier Member Benefit Provides Best Practice and Industry Issue Discussions

Washington, DC (March 30, 2011)—The National Parking Association (NPA) officially launches Peer Networks, an international series of peer topic and trend discussions on leading parking and transportation industry issues. This is an exclusive benefit to NPA members.

NPA Peer Networks provide an ongoing opportunity for parking and transportation professionals to build industry connections, learn best practices and discuss topics of interest to each peer group. NPA is pleased to announce the Off-Airport Peer Network, Government, Institutional and Non-Profit (GINP) Peer Network, Certified Parking Professional (CPP) Peer Network and Valet Peer Network.

“Peer networks provide our members with an opportunity to discuss specific issues exclusively with their counterparts around the world so they can share successes, challenges and best practices, make meaningful connections and learn from each other’s experiences,” said Christine Banning, NPA president. “NPA offers leading industry benefits that bring the power of knowledge and networks together to discuss critical industry issues that have immediate impact on citizens, clients and communities.”

The 2011 NPA Peer Network chairs are:

  • CPP Peer Network: Andrew Barlow, CPP, general manager, Central Parking System, Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Off-Airport Peer Network: Nicolle Judge, president, SkyPark, an off-airport facility located near San Francisco International Airport
  • Government, Institutional and Non-Profit Peer Network: Adam Jones, vice president, Operations and Parking, Downtown Tempe Community Inc., Tempe, Ariz.
  • Valet Peer Network: Leanne Gent, director of Human Resources, Curbside Hospitality, Beverly, Mass.
